My name is Nehama Segal. I'm a qualified and registered audiologist with over 30 years of clinical experience working with adults and children.

I completed my audiology training at the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences in Melbourne, Australia in 1992.

I subsequently spent 23 years working as an audiologist in Australia, both in major hospitals and alongside leading private Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeons.

After making Aliyah in 2016, I obtained my Israeli professional licence and have since worked in private audiology practice as well as in schools on behalf of the Ministry of Health (Misrad HaBriut).

I established Gush Etzion Hearing (גוש שמיעה) because I wanted families to have convenient access to professional and reliable hearing assessments, close to home and in a comfortable, welcoming environment — without the long waiting times that can sometimes be involved in getting an appointment through the kupot.

I offer comprehensive hearing assessments and tympanometry for adults and children aged 5 and over, using the most up-to-date professional audiological equipment. You receive your results immediately, together with a clear explanation of what they mean and a written report.

I know that having a hearing test can sometimes feel unfamiliar or stressful, particularly for children. My approach is patient, friendly, professional and thorough.
